NOT ONE DROP OF BLOOD

Three months later and the Oregon Cattle Mutilation case remains unsolved. One particularly disturbing fact has emerged. The crime scene contains no blood. That's correct, not a single drop of blood is present at the spot where a 2,000 pound bull was found slaughtered.

Crimeonline.com reports:This summer wasn’t the first time cattle were found mysteriously dead, area ranchers said. Andie Davies told NPR that one of her cows was found in a similar manner two years ago: Mutilated and completely drained of blood. She said she and her husband studied the area for track marks but found nothing.“Everything you do leaves tracks,” she said. Another rancher recalled a similar incident in the 1980s. He said his mother’s cow was found dead with an udder cut off.“And not one drop of blood,” he said.

From reference.com we learn that '...it is generally accepted that the blood volume of cattle is an average of 55 milliliters per kilo gram.' Given that the bulls in question weighed 2,000 lbs or approximately 900 kilo grams, in order to determine how much blood the bull had while alive we can multiple:

900kg(animal weight) x 55ml(blood per kg ratio) = 49,500ml or 1,674 ounces or 13 gallons.

That is correct, the mutilated bulls  are missing 13 gallons of blood! Most of us are familiar with a what a five gallon bucket looks like. Just imagine over two and a half five gallons of blood and how much ground that would cover. Now ask yourself, 'Where did 13 gallons of blood go?' Photographic evidence and multiple eyewitness testimony have shown that not a single drop of blood was left at the crime scene.

No blood, not a single drop anywhere. No tracks either. Not so much as a single foot print or tire track at or near the crime scene. In spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary the crime is being attributed to human caused.

"Colby Marshall, vice president of Silvies Valley Ranch, said it is normal to find bulls that die suddenly on the ranch’s 140,000 acres. But finding five within two days was strange. “You can see this animal is just laying here and is just sort of melting into the ground... if it was a natural cause of death it would never look like this,” Marshall said. Marshall said when the ranch hands first discovered the bulls, they knew something was not right. There were no wounds. No signs of a struggle. And the bulls’ genitals and tongues had been precisely removed. All without a trace of footprints or blood around. Marshall said the circumstances at the ranch point to humans as the probable culprits because of the precise cuts on the bulls."

I am yet to see a logical explanation as to exactly how the circumstance point to humans. From my viewpoint this notion defies logic.

The same article from KHQ.com reports:“When we did a necropsy, there was nothing,” Marshall said.

That should pretty much rule out poison darts. The local Sheriff also does not offer any explanation as to how a 2,000 pound bull could have bled out 13 gallons of blood without leaving a single drop at the death scene.

"Sheriff Dan Jenkins with Harney County Sheriff’s Office has been working on the cattle cases and said it's been going on for decades.“I’ve heard of it in the past working in ranches and stuff and talking to different people where they had seen it and you get all the conspiracies,” Jenkins said.  Jenkins said the deaths are similar to livestock killings and mutilations he heard as a kid across the west in the 1970s... where hundreds of cows and bulls turned up dead, also of seemingly unknown causes and with their genitals and tongues missing. He said since the Silvies Ranch investigation, theories are still being called in; anywhere from government conspiracies, Bigfoot, UFOs and aliens, to natural deaths and scavengers.Jenkins said anything else is speculation, including ideas of what might have killed a bull without leaving marks."

So basically the Sheriff affirms that hundreds of head of cattle have been mutilated and killed since the 1970's without leaving behind any sign of evidence or even a single drop of blood. However if anyone so much as speculates that the cause could be nonhuman they are engaging in speculation and conspiracy theory. Given this mindset it is a little easier to understand why these hundreds of cases have remained unsolved over the past fifty years. Until someone explains where the 13 gallons of missing blood went I'll probably just keep 'speculating' about those UFO 'conspiracy theories'.
